Hi. What I have found out is that Choice Privilege Booking allowed the tranaction of $157.09 to be charged to my account , and it was not approved by the establishment of the same hotel the resevation was booked for on the same date. Which is why there was no reason for the charge. When I called Choice Privillege they stated they saw no charge in my customer folio.  discrepancies on her end for the change only the the amount for the weeks stay , and told me because I was a member I was not responsible for a deposit, she also emailed Chargeback Operations at "****************************" to explain to them that $157.09 should not have been charged to my card. I received a letter 12/19/2024 stating my request to dispute the addition charge of $157.09 to my card was denied. I have reached out to Choice Privileges, and EconoLodge Biloxi Ms. Neither has my funds . Who has the right to my funds, I would like my $157.09 returned to me from my credit card company. Attachments are added that will show how none of this makes any sense. Why would I pay to check into a room , check out ,then pay to check into the same room . I stay at the same hotel everything I visit Biloxi because of its location and staff, so I truly believe the error isn't here but with the Choice Privilege franchise. Nevertheless I would like my funds reimbursed.

To whom it may concern,  the reason I  feel passionate about the return of my funds is because there has been no valid explanation from Choice Privilege  in regards to why this deposit was kept. I arrived at the room on the date the room was reserved and was in the room I reserved for a the week at the rate if $856.50. In addition when I spoke with the manager of the EconoLodge of Moss Pointe Biloxi,  Ms. ******,  she confirmed I was not responsible for a deposit. I am asking that you take notice to the departure dates, check in times, etc on both documents to assist with the decision of the return of the additional $157.09 that I was billed for reason unknown to me.

Upon further investigation, Ms. ****** had an original reservation on 9/30/24 for one night, that was not cancelled within the 24 hour window prior. This would explain the $157.09 charge for the no show fee. This is how no show reservations are done through Choice. She made a new reservation for the same date to check in and stay. I was contacted by her bank representative and they confirmed the same charges as valid. Unfortunately, I am unable to override those charges due to the cancellation policy.

I am rejecting this response because: I was at another Choice hotel in another location. I did call to confirm that the my reservation for the room that I had reserved with whirlpool accommodations was still available for the week. But I STILL was in the room by the end of evening because I was traveling from one state to another. Choice Privilege can see all of these things, these are the perks of being a member besides the accommodations of rooms being available.

    Regards,
