    On December 17 2022, with my wife we purchased a car from this dealership, it was necessary to get a loan, they offered Westlake financial. The dealer applied for the title in the Mississippi department of revenue the same day with application number ***********.
    Later, we moved out of the state and when we were asking the bank to send the title to the local motor vehicle commission, they replied that they haven't received the title yet.
    In the Mississippi department of revenue, they told me that the title application was never processed because they didn't received the documents from the dealership. So it seems that the dealer is still in possession of the title.
    As far as we know, it seems that the dealer went out of business as they don't pick up the phone they included in the paperwork or reply any emails, and their website not longer exists.

    The title was sent directly to lender without coming to us by our floor plan provider Nextgear Capital.  When we inquired with Nextgear this was their response: 

    Released to WL via Fedex **** **** **** – delivered 3/1 to Westlake Financial.

    After checking the tracking, we found that Westlake had in fact been in possession of the title already and they would have to be the one to perfect the title with the state. 

    We have talked to the complaint several times and tried to explain to them the Lien Holder had the title in hand and would have to send it to the state to be transferred. 

    If there is anything in your opinion that we can do at this point to clear this up please let us know. We have never had title issues before and are trying desperately to work and get this fixed for the customer.
