    Business Response

    Date: 10/24/2023

Good afternoon. On February 15th of 2023 ************** pawned his ******** Compound Bow with ** at *****'s **** Shop. He redeemed the item on October 13th, 2023. Upon receiving his merchandise, he stated that the string had come off of the cam on bow. He then proclaimed that this can only happen by "dry firing" and that someone had dry fired his bow. This is not the case as his bow was put in **** on a shelf and has not moved since. However, it is apparent that the bow was not in the same condition as it was when ************** first pawned the item. Therefore, according to company policy, we offered to repair the item at NO cost to **************. We offered to send the bow to ************** in ******, ** to have it repaired. ************** agreed. Once we sent the bow to **************, it was inspected and noted that the string did not come off the cam due to dry firing. Since the bow was in the possession of Sully's **** Shop, we still had the bow repaired; AGAIN-AT NO COST TO THE CUSTOMER. When the bow was returned to **************, he was still unsatisfied. We offered to resolve this issue and ************** agreed to that offer. He also claimed that "this is not the first time" but our records go back to 2018(when we purchased the business from ***********) and this is the ONLY item that ************** has ever redeemed... While we value our customers and do not wish to have any customers upset or any situation left unresolved, we did what we said we would and ************** agreed. Thank you.
