This is an unfortunate situation. The customer brought in a 8s motor and esc for us to put in his 6s car. Along with cables to be made. We removed old 6s motor and esc out of car an installed new motor and esc. Then programed. We ran this car at our shop before giving back to customer. The car ran perfect when customer took possession of car. The picture attached is the old esc. Is the wire ripped on it? I know that my guy that worked on it said there was a wire on this that has been rubbing the driveshaft for a bit? This is a custom job and customer brought all parts to do this. I believe he bought everything at another local hobby shop and tried to get them to do the work and after three weeks he picked up and brought to us. We cut the leads on the esc to use to build the system he provided.
