Hello Everyone. Late good evening/ morning. Thanks to each and everyone for reading this email. Thanks also to those who reached out. As soon as Im able to move with time and finding another storage unit I will, though I dont know when. I will make my complaints since hearing back from Citizen Storage it appears they could care-less about doing good business by their customers. I will follow up once time permits. Addition to the last email: with the first payment made in July 2023 and the last three payments, todays payment made 4 payments Ive given to Citizen Storage, a business I do not trust and will review and follow up on this emailed complaint accordingly with organization and/ or agencies. I just made it home not long ago and read this email from Citizen Storage. They could at least remove the stated lien fee, in light of the fact, theyre now all of a sudden telling me now to send a different kind of payment. Both, of which will costs more on top of what Id be paying them, a money order or cashiers check. A check is much more reliable documentation, Citizen Storage does not we by that. I will have to contact outside help for assistance in this ongoing issue. I was told Citizen Storage accepted personal checks when they lured me in with a special rate as a customer in July of 2023. I am asking *********************** management to save me the time, extra gas, fees and headache between two jobs of having to start from scratch resubmitting a payment of which Ive already in addition paid for delivery confirmation. Citizen Storage is a real headache beyond what I signed up for in what I thought was simple storage, their many hidden fees, and sneaky scheme efforts to seize belongings is nothing less than low down. Wow!****************************** *********************** BELOW: Message from Citizen Storage View more -- Citizen Self Storage **** Highway 51 ******, ** ***** ************ PREVIOUS EMAILS FROM ME:RE: Continued issues with Citizen Storage Hello again. A third payment was sent today certified Mail for $453.60 as stated in the most recent email stating cost from Citizen Storage, ***********************************************. As stated in phone by Citizen Storage associate, the next payment will be due October 24, 2023. Citizen Storage is a scam rip off. I only wish Id known sooner. Receipt requested. ****************************** *********************** TO: Citizen Storage, Hwy. 51, ******, ** and Others:Hello. Good morning. I am sending this second reply, the very next day, to the same issue after not being able to reach nor hearing back from Citizen Storage before a reply to my email yesterday. I will be following up with other organizations and government agencies. Again, assistance needed.: I called and came by Citizen Storage, Highway 5, ****** and even though the agent was there, no one answered the call box or let me in. I then called by phone, and spoke with a young lady it appeared who I told I left payment in the mailbox. As stated, I work two jobs with long commutes. Please email me regarding this. If Citizen Storage is open, I will come by on my way to work today, AGAIN: Monday, and try again if not Wednesday. Note: I wrote two checks, one a while ago for $169 and another, not understood amount for $425 and change after an email saying I owed that and was the amount by check left in the mailbox. Also, this is not my first email or phone call regarding this. I have yet to receive a direct email reply to any of my emails, and the phone last phone call, it was settled that I left payment in their mailbox, to which I documented and spoke to the person, a young lady there at the Hwy 51, ******, ** location. It appears Citizen Storage may be a rigged operation to **** up the price of storage and steal customers belongings. I was lured into Citizen Storage with a discounted offer on a 10x20 storage, only to have a lein added to a late fee. I became a customer around July 24, 2023. Am I being overcharged? Why is Citizen Storage still hounding me for money when my payments should be up to date? Have my payments been submitted? If not, what is my specific balance, if any? If not, what is the price I ower, not going past the amount I already submitted that was said by Citizen Storage, $425 and change would bring my account up to date until October 24, 2023. Again, please read this same email, with the same already answered reply. I will stop by on Wednesday, October 11, 2023, please have receipts and tell me what happened to payments I've already submitted before I pay anything else. I will try and find a new storage place with space and within a nearby drive when possible.Assistance needed urgently.Sincerely,****************************** *********************** TO: Citizen Storage ********************************************************* ************, ************Initial Complaint

I am unemployed.Since Aug. 2022 all my belongings are stored at Citizen Storage **************** ***** BranchMS 38654.I called Citizen Storage re notice at ************** and spoke with ****(****,****,or *****)told me she was the Mgr.I told ********** was calling about the notice I received stating my storage unit fee was increasing.**** stated we can go up on your rate at anytime to whatever amount we want to increase storage rate to be.I told her I have a lease agreement and that is not stated in my lease agreement.I stated I am paying more than some of the other people that have the same size storage unit 10 X 20, and I learned that after I moved my belongings to the storage unit. They should be reducing my storage fee instead of increasing my fee.I asked, are they increasing the storage fee on the people that pay less than me for a 10x20?**** then said the increase is in your lease agreement.I told her to refer me to the section of my lease agreement that states that. She said she would have to contact another rep for the exact sec.I told her you are the Mgr you should know.I then asked to speak with the Owner and or the Director. She told me she was emailing the District Mgr my contact information and she would call me within ***** hrs.I have not received a phone call from the District Mgr.The same day **** sent me a text from ************** referring me to pg 3 sec 9 stating that is the section of my lease that states they can go up on my storage unit fee at anytime and for the amount they want to.I texted **** back and told her that is not what pg 3 sec 9 of my lease agreement states, and I told her i am still waiting to talk to the District Mgr.I did not terminate my lease agreement, and I follow the rules.I am still unemployed and homeless.I do not have money or a place to move my belongings from storage unit. Please see my air documents. Please call me.Increased storage fee rate due Apr 29, 2023.They are trying to sell my belongings. Please help me.Please respond.Customer Answer

Hello,
I paid my Citizen Storage for payment that was due on April 29, 2023 at the increase rate amount of $246.00, because I do not want Citizen Storage to sell my belongings and not because I am agreeing with the increased rate amount. I still have not received a phone call from Citizen Storage the District Manager, Director, or Owner. I will wait for an update from you. Please see my attached Citizen Storage April 28, 2023 payment receipt.
Thank you,
Turkesha Woodson
