    My mother was over charged for parking in an elderly spot because her elderly sticker wasn't visible but was after her car was broken into by the tow truck driver.She was charged $300.00 for a tow that was around the corner basically and was disrespected by the drivers and they stated that she was being over charged because her being elderly decided to involve law enforcement and last I checked calling law enforcement on someone that you think is doing something illegal is not a crime or something to be financially charged for.I feel she was a victim of "Predatory Towing."They also hiked the price up from $150.00 to $300.00 then to $390.00 which we don't even think is legal.. and I definitely don't condone disrespecting anyone whether they're Caucasian or African American which we felt like was a big part of this whole ordeal... last I checked were all free including people that choose to reside in Mississippi.They didn't even use a flat bed tow truck which is supposed to be used when towing a locked car instead of using a "slim jim" to enter someone's locked car.My mother stated that she wouldn't be returning to visit us or her 6yr. old grandchildren because she felt targeted which to me is a shame all because of a money hungry tow truck company that doesn't even follow the rules... she wasn't here for over 10 minutes without her car being towed and overpriced and disrespected ?? She was also told after agreeing to pay the $390.00 that her car still wouldn't be released for 2-3 days for some made up reason which was very ridiculous ??I wouldn't recommend this place to my worst enemy and all of this right before Christmas when we should be pulling together to celebrate.Thank you for platform to get this message out to unaware potential victims of "Sheldon's Towing" in Oxford Ms ??
