    The owner, a young and sincere and energetic guy (****** *******) came on full of promises. He asked me for most of the money up front, because he needed to buy the supplies and because I am terminally ill, wanted to do my bathroom in 2 weeks. I asked questions (ie, when you are doing the floor, will we have a Port O Let outside? The answer was, no, we will leave your toilet in til the last minute.) Well, for every question there was a quick and comforting answer. He lies like I've never seen before; even contradicting himself. Didn't see it soon enough. They tore everything out of the bathroom, including the toilet, early on; that day, they just left. We had no toilet!! I called him and he suggested we pour it down the pipe; or save it up, and he would take the lid off the septic tank and dump!!!! I insisted, and now we have the Port O Let. Outside. I have Stage 4 cancer and am on hospice. My poor husband lugs those buckets out there, so I can use my commode chair in comfort. Not only did they work ONE full day (5 hours) but have taken to coming for 2 or 3 hours in AM, and leaving. A 2-week job is now going on forever because they have my money, and seems they have a second job. I expressed concern about this in the very beginning, but was suavely assured by this very sweet guy that no, it will be priority, just my job, done fast, since I'm ill and REALLY WANT A BATH.The reason we got stuck in the beginning was, after telling me I could have X Y and Z for this price, ****** decided the tile I wanted was above budget; but he couldn't come out and tell me. After a couple of weeks of dithering, I realized: he keeps offering me other, ugly, cheap tile...I gave him 1,800.00 more, and now the honeymoon's over, they got all they could from me, cashed those checks immediately, and as of today, no word. ****** had texted this AM that 2 workers would be here by 9 and he'd follow. It's 3:00PM. He isn't taking my calls or answering text.
