    I currently live in Little Rock AR. However, due to a job promotion, I will be relocating to Jackson MS. On 7/26/22 I completed an application online for Pear Orchard Apartments. When completing the application, the website stated that the application fee is non refundable. Hours after completing the application, I received a call from a lady named ****** at Pear Orchard Apartments. ****** told me that I must pay a $300 security deposit, and $175 administration fee for the apartment immediately, or my application will be cancelled. I told ****** my situation, (Not living in MS yet) and explained that I do not want to pay money without touring the complex first. ****** stated that I needed to pay the Administration fee right now or they would cancel my application. So I went to the website provided by ******, and I paid the fee. The website did not state that the fee was Non Refundable, nor did ****** state that the fee was Non Refundable. However, the website did state that the $50 application fee was Non Refundable. These apartments are horrible, and far from luxurious. There are massive pot holes everywhere throughout the complex, and the inside is very small, dirty, and have horrible paint jobs. I would never willingly give these people money without seeing the complex first. This was the biggest scam EVER! No where on any paper work does it state that the administration fee is Non Refundable.
