    Bought Lennox HVAC through ******. Mitch Wright, Plumbing, Heating, & Air was the contractor. Salesman was not on time, so a second visit was required. He was late for 2nd visit. Received quote for 16 SEER2 system. Major systems stated Model and efficiencies may vary. Told salesman I need model numbers, and if I pay for a 16 SEER2 system, I expect a 16 SEER2 system. Quote was updated, He assured me I would receive the efficiency I ordered. I accepted the offer. I told him I expect model numbers to match on install day. Mitch Wright (MW) installed different models of equipment (condenser, furnace, and thermostat). Informed installers that condenser was not what I ordered. They claimed it was an upgrade. Informed the salesman, he told me dont look at the ENERGY GUIDE and they shouldnt add those because they dont mean anything. I told him the model number was wrong. He brushed me off. I bought a low-NOx furnace ML180UH090XE48BK, but MW decided to install a standard furnace ML180UH090E48BK. Furnace exhaust started leaking water after install. Installers sealed the air handler poorly. Air leaks cause condensation and water leaked into furnace. I sealed air handler to prevent water damage. Duct connections to air handler were leaking as well. Connection upstream of air filter was leaking, sending unfiltered air into the blower. Install was June 26 2025. MW has done nothing to correct the installation of the wrong units other than sending the following email. I do apologize for the mishap between EL16KC1-047 and the EL16KC1-048. (Removed/modified portions due to character limit. ****** contains entire email ************************ ) In the past, ****** has substituted both of these models out due to product availability. ****** responded that the 047 model was created to hit different targets, within different market requirements. Our marketing standard is the 048 model. Dont trust MW with your home! Look at the Yelp reviews; they offer another perspective.

    Don't fall for the "maintenance plan". I have found out that I've been overcharged from a very good small and reputable company. I wouldn't recommend Mitch Wright to my worst enemy.

    MW Plumbing, Heating, and Air has performed work in my ceiling and royally messed up. Their technicians unplugged the condensate pump for my HVAC unit whilst performing work, and never plugged it back in! This has led to water leaking into the ceiling, ruining the insulation, and now there are water stains and possible mold. They are refusing to address the issue, and this is for one of their 'members' to their silly subscription plan. I have had issues with these guys for over a year, if not two, and have given them chance after chance. They don't even bring the proper size air filters out to their 'members' house. The technicians and "comfort advisors" they dispatch are more salesmen than anything else. They leap at the chance to recommend work costing over $10k, but can't stand by the work they've previously done. I would recommend avoiding this business at all costs, they are simply not trustworthy.

    Ive had Mitch Wright doing all my plumbing and HVAC work since I moved here in 2018. They replaced all my aging plumbing with flex pipe, both toilets (which are now high efficiency low water volume use), the water heater, and the furnace in my home (built in ****). I had them clean my ducts and add extra insulation to the attic when the furnace was replaced. I have had no worries whenever the weather turns coldthere have been no ice dams when we have bad snow/ice storms, and my cooling costs have been reasonable in the sweltering heat. I never have to worry about forgetting regular maintenance since they call me for routine work as part of my membership in their service club. They also installed sturdy grab bars in both of my bathtubs and new shower heads. The office personnel have always been personable and considerate whenever we talk on the phone.

    We had Mitch Wright come out to look at our AC. We were told that we needed to replace the entire unit. A second guy was sent out and estimated the cost to be just over $10,000.00. We decided to get a second opinion. They discovered that we needed to replace the capacitor, which cost just under $200.00. I feel like Mitch Wright was in grave error and almost cost us unnecessary financial burden. The "technician" didn't bring any tools, he basically just peeked at the unit and said he could tell by the sound that our entire AC system needed to be replaced. It truly felt like a sham. I requested a refund for the trip charge and received no response.

    I was initially happy with the installation of my HVAC system. After about a year and a half, the unit stopped working. I contacted Mitch Wright and he came out the same day (which I was surprised with them coming out so quickly). After the technician came out was asking what the problem was (popping the *** and he went to his vehicle to get some test equipment. He went to the outside (heat pump) to check some things out. When he finished, he told me that the compressor was bad, and it would only cost me about $6000.00 to get it replaced!!! Because he said that it was not cleaned (they Mitch Wright) never offered to come and service the unit. I looked through the fins from the inside out and I could see my grass through all four sides of the outside unit.I would not recommend to anyone!
