      windshield wiper problem repair the shop told me it was the wiper motor an he wood fix for $442.76 dollar i ask what the warranty he said 50.000 miles he fix it. it stop working i took the car back to him told him it was doing the same thing was the first time he wanted more money to fix the same thing that it was doing at first he wanted $442.00 more dollar to fix i told him no he told me to come and get the car

      On September 17 2024 the customer came in with a 1999 Lincoln town car and stated his windshield wipers were not working. We discovered the Windshield Wiper Motor was not working. The multi function switch was communicating to the motor but the motor would not run. We replaced the Wiper motor and the wipers ran fine. 6 months later the customer stated the windshield wipers were not working. We took a look at it and the Windshield motor was working but was not receiving communication.  We determined that the multi function switch had stop communicating with the motor and had failed. We replaced the multi function switch and the Windshield wipers started working again. Both of these issues were separate of each other and not caused by anything that we worked on. The warranty that the customer is speaking of is a 60 month, 50,000 mile warranty on most parts, but these parts are not the same and are two different issues. I have attached the first invoice and the second invoice for the vehicle.

      I misspoke on the second invoice. We did not do the repair yet. We quoted the multi function switch must be replaced to get the wipers to work again. The customer refused to have the repair done.
