    While traveling in this SUV rental from Mobyl car rental, my family of 6 could have been killed due to a bad tire that blew out and was practically coming apart. I had to delay our trip for 2 hours or more. When called the rental , they said to keep the receipt and they will reimbursed me. On Tuesday, June 11, 2024, when I returned the vehicle, first they looked at mileage and claimed we went over. Then they charged us and out of 163.24 for tire they only gave us 42.32 dollars. Don't they realize that our family could have died. First they gave us a dirty vehicle. Then claim that new tires were put on it. Actually there were 2 bad tires. When we got back, she change saying that two only two tires was new. But we heard what was said the first time. I want at least half of my rental back and the total for the tire I brought. Furthermore, having to detour and find a place to buy a tire added more mileage to the car. So why are they charging us.

    Safety is our top priority here at Mobyl car rental. We honored the tire and windshield protection purchased by the customer with a full reimbursement of the tire cost. However due to the excess mileage of 838 miles we had to deduct that fee from the tire cost which ended in a credit card refund of $42.32. I went over the allowed miles at pick up and the cost of excess miles at that time as well. 838 miles is too much to be looking for a tire shop and the tire was driven to the tire shop. I asked them if they brought the tire back with them to show the shredding but they said there wasn't enough space for it. We had just had 2 new tires put on the front of the van and had all tires inspected professionally at that time. I am attaching the tire receipt the customer provided as well as the rental agreement showing the mileage charges and reimbursement amounts for the tire and their security deposit.
