The man who worked on my wife’s IPhone 11 (*** *** **** **** ***** told us we were good for 3 months after the repair as long as we didn’t damage the phone. He said this prior to the work but I asked the person ringing us up (*** ******* *** **** * *** **** ***) about the warranty. He told me it was only a 2 week warranty. That was the first strike. Don’t tell me 3 months so I can agree to the repair then let the cashier tell me it’s only 2 weeks after the repair is done.. That’s false advertising because I would have declined the battery repair had I known it was only a 2 week warranty. When we get home, my wife notices the screen starts going out. By now they are closed so we have to wait until the next day which is today August 26, 2024. To make matters worse, before we make it back to the store the phone starts cutting off.

We make it back to the store and show it to them and they go back behind the wall where they do repairs and they start whispering. Then they bring the phone out to show us some sticky stuff that is on the battery. The men proceed to accuse my wife of wasting coffee or something sticky on her phone and they say that is why her phone went out. They chose the wrong lie for us because we don’t have soda, coffee or anything that matches what they said in our house. The phone messed up after leaving the repair shop and it was never near liquids. My wife never wasted anything on her phone and they blatantly lied.
I am completely disgusted with how they handled this. I would never spend a penny here after this. Lying on me is one thing but lying on my wife is too far. I have supported this business for over 15 years just so my wife’s phone could be destroyed and my family lied on! ???? that young man needs to learn a thing or two about customer service because hurting good people is bad for business. Im angry, hurt, disappointed and disgusted. We paid over $300 for that iPhone and it was fine before they botched the screen replacing the battery.

    Business Response

    To whom it may concern:

We appreciate the BBB for reaching out to us and giving us the opportunity to respond to the complaint brought forward by the consumer.

In regards to the complaint (ID-********) the customer stated the employee with the long hair informed him there was a 3 month warranty. That is false because we do not give any warranty for 3 months. The max warranty we provide is for 30 days and thats on certain products not battery replacement.  Secondly if that was true why didn't he confront or inform the employee at the cash register of what was told to him by the other employee once he was informed that the warranty was for 2 weeks. No one will stay quiet and take the product after being informed of the new warranty. We are not talking about a difference of a day or 2, the difference is 2 and half months.

Also when the customer picked up the phone, he turned it on and looked thru it and was satisfied with the repair.  There was no sign of any stain on the screen and the phone was working properly. Logically if there was anything wrong with the phone the customer would never have accepted it.

Liquid stains on the phone would show simultaneously on the screen. It would not show after 24 hours or 12 hours or 1 hour.  It would show right away.

The customer came in and requested to fix the battery, which we did. We never touched the screen nor did we spill anything on it.

We've been in business for over 13 years and our reputation speaks for itself. We do not appreciate someone trying to stain our reputation and our integrity.

If any of my employees did anything wrong, we would take full responsibility and fix the problem but the customer received the phone fixed and in good working condition and left the store smiling.
