On 12/14/2022 I made a payment of $****** to Vitality Medical Wellness Center and received confirmation of payment. A few weeks later I received a bill for $****** (the same charge/account that had already been paid) but this time threatening to send me to collections. I was out of state and did not have access to my records so I quickly paid the $****** again for fear of being sent to collections and having it affect my credit score. This was 01/02/2023.I was then able to confirm with my records that I had already paid the $******. I contacted the company who advised me they were a third party billing agency and I would need to contact my provider. I emailed my provider with the information and waited weeks for a response. I then received email confirmation from the provider stating they had in fact missed my refund but assured me I was on the refund list for the month of April. Since that time, I have had to remind them via email monthly about the refund. My last contact was in June where I was assured that although they had forgotten about me, they would definitley get me on the next list and then the next list. I have now gone over 4 weeks with no email or phone response from the provider and have not received the refund. I am frustrated and upset at why I have had to fight with this provider for almost 8 months on a ****** dollar charge that should have been an easy reversal after they admitted they had overcharged me. I do not know what to do at this point.I have attached the two confirmation emails confirming the over payment as well as the providers email acknowledging they had made a mistake and would be sending me a refund. I have dozens of additional communication promising to send me the refund as well as the last dozen that have gone unanswered. I am happy to send whatever documents are necessary and I sincerely appreciate the help. Respectfully, *******************
