  BUYER BEWARE!!! I would have left a zero star review if it was an option. I bought a 2016 **** Edge VIN # ***************** April 2023 for $15,000. The sales man told me if there is anything wrong with this car that is a safety hazard Lithia will repair it for you or give you a refund. Three days later my check engine light came on. I took the car to ***************************** for an inspection. The coolant was leaking into the engine and the car needed a new engine. The mechanic gave me documents from National Highway ***************************** that said driving this car was a safety hazard and could have caught fire. Although this is a known issue with some **** cars there isn't a recall. I returned the vehicle to Lithia Dodge within a week and gave the sales manager a copy of the documents from the ****** They would not refund my money. At first they told me I had to pay $14,000 to fix it myself because I didn't but the extended warranty. The next day the sales manager offered to take the car back in trade for $10,000 and "allow me to pick out a different car." He told me he can't sell a hazardous vehicle and he was losing money by taking the car in trade. I knew I was getting screwed out of $5,000 in this deal but I took the offer so I wouldn't be out all of my money and stuck with a car I can't drive. A couple weeks later I saw that same car for sale on the Lithia Dodge website with NO mention of the engine issues. They knowingly sold a hazardous vehicle to someone else. I hope someone doesn't get hurt because of this companies greed and indifference to the well being of their customers. I won't ever buy another vehicle from this dealership! And neither should you!!

  I went in to get my oil changed and tires rotated. When I bought my car from a Lithia dealer, I purchased the life time oil change. And then when I bought new tires, I got it through Lithia, as well. I was told with the purchase of the times that I got tire rotations every ***** miles as part of my purchase. When I went and told the man what I needed, he told me it would be $29.95 for the rotation. I told him I was told that I got the rotations as part of my purchase... He then proceeded to tell me he could comp this for me this time. While I was waiting, I got a message telling me I needed to get my air filter changed. Which I thought was interesting, considering I replaced it the month prior. I called asking what the mechanic saw that I didn't because I went home and checked it myself. I was then told that there was snow packed into the air filter, and it was just a recommendation to get it replaced. If there was snow packed into my air filter and my car didn't flash the check engine light, we have a bigger problem on our hands!! As a female, I honestly felt like they were trying to take advantage of me from the start, and then they blatantly lied to me. The mechanic didn't check the air filter because he seemed shocked that I said I changed it, however I wrote the date and milage I replaced it at on the rubber edging of the filter.
