      I received a quote for replacing my roof and gutters in Sept. of 2022. I compared to what my insurance had quoted and approved the quote. Both the roof and the gutters were done within a few weeks of approval. I received an invoice and the contractor handling the job said that it needed to be paid asap. The invoice was close to what I was quoted for the gutters and the roof and I paid this on Oct. 19th and received a PAID notification.On May 2nd, 2024, I started getting text messages from ****** Singh saying that I had never been invoiced for the gutters and now owed over $3k with the interest etc. I told him that I paid the bill - showed him copies of everything. He told me that I only paid for the roof and that I had received an updated quote. He sent me a copy of the new quote which had an additional $2k tacked onto the bottom of the quote for what he said was the removal of 5 extra layers of felt on the roof - (not including the original 1 layer which was quoted at $25.00). I let him know that I had not gotten a new quote and would not have approved it. He threatened me with collections - berated me - called me names and told me it wasn't his fault that my roof had been done multiple times and the last time it was not done right. I let him know that it was HIS company that did it last and asked if he was saying they had done it wrong? He then asked what we needed to do to settle this.Just to get rid of him, I offered a settlement amount. He initially agreed until he saw the review that I left. He wanted this review to be removed and I refused - so, he sent the bill to collections. Please note: I have copies of all conversations. My insurance company twice requested the updated quote and photos of the work that was done and said they would review and pay him. He ignored their requests. He has also done this to other customers in the past.
