Scam artist. We hired ***** to do a custom chicken coop build in May. He required a huge amount down and 5 payments as the project went about. Complete date was told to us to be done on June 25th. June rolled around and someone ***** hired started to do the ground work. The treated wood for the foundation was completely unlevel and the floor wasnt supported in the middle and super spring like. We had brought up our concerns to ***** and he got super defensive and belittled my husband about how you dont criticize a builder because the job had just begun. ***** went up and siding shows up and it wasnt what we had wanted. We decided to confer on ***** again and he made us feel bad about the siding due to it being a special order and couldnt return it. We complained about the floor again and he did put some shims under to support a bit more. My husband and I sucked it up and kept the siding due to ***** complaining about them being special order. He then brought out a door that was suppose to be wood and it was fiberglass. I called him right away and he made up something how the door would take awhile to build but then it changed to special order. I told him I need to pick out these pieces as he had promised. No communication. He sent out an employee and this employee put up metal and bent it severely around corners, trim did not match up size wise or color. ***** did a concrete slab in front of the coop and was wavy, unlevel, agate showing from being over worked, concrete running into the coop, and out the sides. He demanded more money today and I told him no because he hadnt even painted the coop or done the work for phase 3. He said he had to do a color match on our white coop. Excuses, lies, telling us what we want to hear and nothing happened.we fired him today. He said he is taking us to court for his renaming ******* owed. I found all the other disputes on here and relived this man is a fraud and scam artist. Do not hire ***** with Chicken Coop Builders.

My husband and I reached out to *********************** of Chicken Ccop Builders, located in ********,*******, in April 2022. After multiple correspondence via email and text we made a decision on a special order chicken coop. He sent us an invoice and required payment upfront. We sent him a check for $ ***** on May 2, 2022. The check was cashed shortly after received. The projection date for shipment was scheduled the end of May/first week in June. We contacted him via text and email wondering when our chicken coop was going to be delivered after we had not heard anything by mid June. ****** response was that it was scheduled to ship in July. He kept stating that he was currently working on the chicken coop. My husband emailed him again after no correspondence for a few weeks and he stated that he was finishing up the chicken coop and that it was projected to ship the last week in July. when we did not receive the chicken coop or any correspondence the last week in July we sent multiple emails and text asking him what was going on with the project. Our next correspondence with him was August 19th where he stated that he was not able to fulfill the order and was going to refund us. We have not received any refund, and ***** will not return our phone calls, emails, text, or any social media contact. He has blocked us on social media from us being able to contact him there as well. Prior to him blocking us on social media I posted a comment on a current ********* post about him trying to sell special order chicken coops & how we never received ours after he took money from us. I shortly got a social media message after from another person located in ***** who stated the same thing happened to her and he wont respond to any of her texts/emails/phone calls as well. She informed me that there was another girl located in ********** that this also happened to her when she sent money to ***********************. I believe it is over $30,000 that he has scammed from the three of us.

I purchased a chicken coop from Chicken Coop Builders through Etsy on March 14th 2022 for the amount of $9,692.11 which included all accessories such as watering system, predator apron, etc., delivery, installation and taxes. The full amount was paid thru Etsy on March 15th. I also paid for a cupola and ***** door upgrade for the Designer Elegant 8X20 Coop through PayPal on March 10th 2022 for $600. The business stated a 45 day turnaround and was LLC accredited at the time of purchase. I contacted owner through Etsy email for delivery estimate and didnt get an response. Chicken Coop Builders and my listing was removed from Etsy by April 8th 2022. I found the Chicken Coop Builders website and ******** page. I again contacted this business through their website on May 13th 2022 to make sure I was in their building queue and was assured I was on their list of builds. After no responses to my delivery question emails, I contacted Chicken Coop Builders through text message on August 22nd 2022. The immediate response was a location photo request for coop site installation which I sent the same day. The reply was that he would text me tomorrow with a delivery date. I have not received any text, phone or email contact from this business since then. Etsy Item #**********. PayPal invoice #****. I believe this company has taken my money to fund a new endeavor of chicken coop kits on their revamped business website. I tend to give the benefit of the doubt and hoped this small business was a good one as it had LLC accreditation at the time of purchase. After 6 months of waiting for a delivery date on a fully paid for product, I have been ghosted. I am disappointed and sad. I hope other innocent people dont get the same treatment as I have received from this company.
