    The dealer refuses to cancel the extended warranty on a car I bought 5 months ago. I had to go through the warranty company itself to cancel. Finally got it canceled and dealer refuses to send the refund of $745.31

    To whom it may concern;

    I am writing in response to the complaint we received, identifiable by number ********. I was 
    contacted just recently by ************** stating that he had cancelled the warranty and that **************;
    owed the amount of $745.31. I told him we were fine with him cancelling the warranty and that we 
    would need something from Elite Warranty themselves stating that it had indeed been cancelled and 
    our stated amount to refund - I am unable to ***** a refund without documentation of such. I tried 
    to contact Elite Warranty multiple times after this original communication, requesting a fax or 
    email showing the breakdown of the warranty and amount owed. Just today, 08/31/2022, I received a 
    phone call from a gentleman at Elite Warranty letting us know that he faxed over the cancellation 
    report. I thanked him and stated that I was on my way to the office and as soon as I arrived, I 
    would write a check for the amount of the $1056.08 (not $745.31) and take it personally to *************************************** It wasn't until after this conversation and after I had the check printed 
    that I checked the mail to find your correspondence. We have no issues *****ing this refund request 
    at all. We just needed some form of documentation in order to do so. I apologize for any 
    miscommunication.
