Cumberland ill HOA Contracted with ********************* dba ******* Mechanical August 2, 2022 for replacement of two sewage containment vessels in our HOA.************************************************************************* During installation of the sewage containment vessel by contractor behind 229 **********, a sewer line was broken, and raw sewerage was allowed to congregate near the home foundation, causing the infiltration. The contractor assured ** that they would cover the costs, but they never did. ********************************************************************* During initial installation of the sewage containment vessel by contractor, the lower cement casing was set at an unacceptable level. This resulted in the lower casing being elevated to a degree that the sewage was running uphill 18 at the termination to the vessel (illegal). Shortly thereafter we had yet another sewage backup resulting in significant remediation costs. They then agreed to reset the system at a proper elevation. Thus far we have had no failures. Their work on this project is still not complete, they never finished replacing all the dirt over the hole they dug or fixing the damage to the road which they agreed was their obligation.Contractor has been non-responsive to my continued requests for an update. The simple fact that they set a sewer line running uphill behind 2821-33 **************** and then told us it was fine leads us to question the integrity and ability of this contractor. As of now the contractor is in breach of contract. We only want the work completed We want a professional assurance that the work was done according to codes and standards We want an extension of warranty to protect our homeowners in the event that the work fails again We want future potential customers to be aware of the risk of doing business with ********************* and his organization
