    We signed a contract on April 15th with *********************** for $8000 plus $500 for parts to paint our 67 Camaro. At that time we gave him $4000 down and $500 for parts. He stated the car would be done by summer. We had numerous emails and stopped in to check on the progress of the car but nothing was progressing and he made promise after promise it would be done. He did about $500 worth of work on the car after 6 months of having it. He also tried to get us to give him the rest of what we owed before the job was done but we were hesitant. We ended up giving him another $2000 and still the car sat outside of his building not being worked on. We got excuses and lies whenever we wanted to know the progress. We should've researched him a little more because he changes his business names because he has done this to many people over the years. We were told that it was ready to be painted and that was far from the truth. We ended up renting a trailer and picking up our vehicle. We now have contacted another painter that stated not much prep work has been done to get the car ready to paint.

    In February of 2017 I made a deal with *********************** of *****'s kustums to get my car painted. I gave him my payment right away and he took my car. I have tried texting him over and over every month since Feb 2017 and he still hasn't gotten my car done. He moved my car without permission to a place I am still unaware of. He will not get my car done and doesn't want to give me my money back. As of a week ago he blocked me on ******** so I can no longer contact him. I have been trying to move out of state and need my car back before I leave and he has costed me 2 jobs and a house due to not being able to move since I don't have my car back.

    Hello to the Complainant,

    I am not sure why we would receive this complaint as we are the Great Falls Area Chamber of Commerce and have nothing to do with this complaint.  You would need to resolve this complaint with ***** at *****'s Kustoms. 

    If he isn't working with you to resolve this situation and from what you have described in your complaint, you can probably pursue legal action against this business. 

    I am sorry I can not help you on this - but this complaint is not for ** and needs to be taken up with the owner of the company you have tried to do business with. - *****

    Not sure why I have received two complaints (the first being similar to this one - but regarding an issue between an employee and their employer) when they have nothing to do with my organization. 

    Is there a way you can have a better screening process to filter out complaints like this that have nothing to do with my organization?

    This complaint needs to be removed from my file.
