    We purchased an entry door recommended by the vendor. The door failed, characterized by significant ice buildup on the interior surface. Additionally, the sweep/threshold assembly repeatedly fails so that there is an air gap across the base of the door. The issue was first brought to the attention on 1/26/24. After requesting a refund numerous times, the last on 3/12/24, both the manufacturer and dealer refused a refund based on high humidity levels in the house.The manufacturer was given erroneous information. When first asked about humidity, I reported to the dealer the setting of a small humidifier at 31 percent. It ran only for a few days and the humidity did not approach 31 percent. I informed Valley Glass that the humidity level was low enough to cause cracking of skin, hardly indicative of high humidity levels.After clarifying with Valley Glass, they failed to correct this with the manufacturer. We were sold a door under false pretenses that is not compatible with Montana's climate. The dealer is refusing to stand behind their product.

    Valley Window and Glass has failed to respond to my complaint filed 3/13/24.Their failure to acknowledge the complaint speaks volumes about their business practices and commitment to customer service.

    ***********************, the door specialist at Valley Window and Glass, recommended the ***** door. ******************** failed to do his due diligence prior to his recommendation. He sold us a door not knowing whether or not it would perform adequately and meet our needs.

    Some facts. Upon my complaint, ******************** made no effort or offer to inspect the door in order to confirm/validate our concerns. His only response was to encourage us to lodge a complaint against the company, *****. Upon ****** refusal to back their product, ******************** simply parroted ****** response and refused to offer any substantial assistance. He refused to back the product he sold us.
    Valley Glass has failed to back the products they sell. They have refused to acknowledge our concerns or to offer assistance in obtaining satisfaction.

    Valley Glass gladly took $8478.62 for a door we cannot use.
    I reiterate my demand for a full refund.
