    In May, I contacted drywall contractors to complete work in the addition of our home settling on ******************* of Alpha Handyman Services. June 4, 2022, he came to review our situation and submitted contract on June 4, 2022. The quote included work that we decided not to have done. A new quote removed those services. Total cost $8,000. On 6/6/22, at 1:30 pm he and his ******* reviewed the area. We signed the contract & provided a deposit of $3,000 check #****. He stated he would provide a two week notice prior to them coming to work in mid July. Mid July arrived with no contact. I sent **** a text at his number on July 21, 2022 -6:02 pm no response. Text on July 29 12:57 pm no response. July 31 5:33 pm no response. August 2 8:18 am no response.I called his number ************** on July 27, - 12:33 pm; July 29 12:56 pm; July 31 2:28 pm; and July 31 5:32 pm. The ******* message stated that the number is not able to receive calls at this time. I sent an email on 8/3/22, to the email address on the contract requesting a response. On August 3, 2022, I went to the address on the contract ******************************************************. There was no one there. I went to the business next door and spoke with the individual inside. He indicated that ******************* had been evicted and provided me the contact information for the building owner ******* from ********************* *************. I called ******* who stated that ******************* had been evicted and that tomorrow was the last day ***** had to remove any items from the premises. He stated that he had not seen ***** since early July, but that ****** spouse and an employee had been inside about a week ago removing items. I contacted the ****** Sheriffs non-emergency line *************. I provided the above information. He indicated that this was not something they could assist with, and I would need to file in Small Claims Court or hire an attorney.

    Date of 4/15/2022 transaction. Paid $2,638.92 on 4/16/2022. Alpha agree to repair/replace deck and has failed to provide service. I reached out late May to see when work would be completed. Alpha handyman owner ******************* responded saying he was planning on coming June 15. After not hearing anything I followed up late July a couple times and have not heard back.

    We hired Alpha Handyman Services to paint our house and paid $8,500 down payment. We now have not been able to contact him since June 25 2022. We are not sure what the next steps we can take.
