I was diagnosed with pancreatic mass . It has been confirmed by two different Drs, and by an MRI with contrast. He was supposed to get a biopsy which he failed to do. He says he can't see it when I went and had it confirmed by two different people.

Charging a very different amount than what they quote. I'm self-pay. Being deceived about pricing is unacceptable.

I scheduled a mammogram with Helena Imaging. On Oct 7, 2022 I received a phone call from a representative at Benefis telling me that Benefis had acquired Helena Imaging since my previous mammo 2 years prior. She explained that the mammogram would cost $256.00 that I would receive a 40 % discount ($102.4) as a self pay (uninsured) and that I would receive an additional 15% off of the remaining $153.60 amount ($23.04) for a balance of $130.56 if I paid in full over the phone, which I did (prior to receiving the mammogram). I then went to get the mammogram on 10/14/2022. There were no additional services required. I then received a bill for an outstanding balance due! I had no additional services. I called Benefis and they could not explain why I was being charged extra. I was only told that what I paid was an estimate and so I owed them money. I explained that the mammogram is coded as a mammogram and since there were no additional services rendered it didn't seem fair or correct that I now am being billed a different amount of $308.00 instead of the original $256.00. I was given no answer. I called Helena Imaging and they told me they have had many complaints for the same thing but they couldn't help me as Benefis is responsible for all billing. I called Benefis again and asked for a supervisor and was told by a ***************************, that she couldn't connect me to any supervisors or give me their phone numbers or emails. She told me she would have them call me, which they have not. Further, the outstanding amount they are billing me is $31.20 (the difference between what I was told I owed them when they called me and the difference they later decided to charge me. If they had told me that the mammogram cost was $308 (instead of $256) and given me the 40% self pay discount on $308 (or less $123.20 leaving $184.80) and then given me the 15% pay today discount of ($27.72) on the $184.80; it would leave an amount due of $157.08 which I would have gladly paid instead of the $130.56 that they told me I owed.

My husband, *****, received treatment at Benefis on 01/24/2022 ($1,527.00 and $824.00) and on 01/28/2022 ($232.00 and $3,330.58). We have been receiving bills for those same treatment dates from Benefis Hospital Physician Services AS WELL AS a Consolidated Account Summary bill from Benefis Health Systems. I have made the following payments: Hospital Physician Services: 2/25/22 $182.70, 3/25/22 $100.00, 4/22/22 $100.00, 5/20/22 $100.00, and 6/28/22 $200.00. On the "Consolidated Account Summary" bills I have paid: 3/25/22 $100.00, 4/22/22 $100.00, 5/20/22 $100.00, 6/28/22 $100.00, and 7/21/22 $100.00. Despite all of the above monthly payments I am constantly receiving ******* phone calls and letters threatening collection. I did speak with a rep at one time and agreed to pay $69.00 a month, which as you can see I have done, and then some. I do not currently have any bills, either from Physician Services or BHS, in my possession waiting for payment. However, despite my monthly payments (to which I believe I am essentially receiving TWO bills a month for the SAME dates of service), this weekend I received collection notices for ALL FOUR of these dates of service. We have worked extremely hard our entire lives to form good credit and yet in less than a year Benefis, through their bizarre billing practices, is threatening to undo all of our hard work. I have routinely made a payment once a bill is received. I do not think I should have to endure countless phone calls and threats and worse, turned over to collection, when I am making a good faith effort to pay these bills as timely as possible, especially when I do not have any control over how Benefis processes my monthly payments. I also do not feel I should be receiving TWO bills a month from the same provider and then threatened if I am unable to pay the amount they would like even though I am attempting to make a decent good faith payment.

In June of 2021,(D.O.S. June 25,30 2021)I was billed for Lab analysis work which I had been assured prior to the visit that the Lab order was incorrect and it would be corrected to give blood for an INR evaluation ONLY. Whe arriving at the appointment, I reminded the check in lady of this mistake and I also reminded the Lab Tech of this also. I was led to believe the correction was made? I discovered upon receiving the invoice this was NOT the case? (Invoice #D58777061) I was billed for all the extra labs which were an incorrect lab order left over from a previous visit and at the previous visit I was told in my follow-up that ONLY an INR test was needed. I have called many times and talking to various people in Administration have been assured this would be corrected to being treated badly by another person? I was also asked to hand write a letter explaining the details WHICH I DID, but it seems that no one is listening. I pay my bills but when a mistake is made, I believe that the hospital needs to #1 correct this account and I also think an apology is in order for the way I have been treated in this situation. I CONTINUE to get this bill? Please help me resolve this issue. Thank you!
