      ***** was hired for mold removal in March. He came into our home and removed all of the toilets and showers and demoed a bedroom. He then left the jobsite and refused to return due to non payment from the insurance. His demolition, however, was outside of the scope of work approved by the insurance. The attached payments were paid to ***** for work that was not completed on our residence. We have been homeless since March because he has refused to come back and turn on the water and finish the work he was paid for. The home is inhabitable due to no water and the bathrooms have no toilet or shower. These items were clearly paid for with the settlement of $6662.41. Our homeowners insurance is unable to provide additional funds to pay a different contractor. I am requesting a refund so I can find someone else to cleanup and finish *****'s work.

      Communication between our company and the clients insurance company was very poor. We made left numerous voicemails and unanswered emails trying to get an adjuster to the residence to see the over and above issues with the home. The clients were had a bathroom that was none working for years and the upstairs was full of mold. Demo was done in both rooms and insurance was taking a very long time to issue payment. The clients refused to pay out of pocket for any repairs and our company policy is to receive payment for mitigation before repairs get started. To our knowledge, the clients still wanted us to start repairs once all funds were issued. We had not sent any invoices directly to the clients due to them wanting us to handle all insurance communication. Repairs would have been started immediately had the ********* provided funds to do so. We were also informed that the insurance was providing hotel accommodations since March and weren't homeless as they spent nights there and day time at the house. Pictures can be provided. Once we were informed they found another contractor we reimbursed funds that were to go towards the rebuild we thought we were to complete.
