    I was not told the cost for an appointment until after the appointment. I did the exam with the doctor. I returned to purchase the contacts. I was not given a price. The receptionist kept saying how expensive they were as she used my *** card to order the prescription Contacts. After the contacts were ordered I found out the price. I asked if there was a cheaper way. She then said do you want a copy of the prescription? Yes, I said. Within approximately 30 minutes. I found out I could get them for less than half ordering online. I immediately called back asking if I could have them cancel the order. I was told no you cannot cancel the order once it is placed. I asked why and I was just told no you cannot cancel the order. It has already been initiated by the company. I called the *** card company and asked if I could stop the payment through the *** card. I was told it had not been filed yet with card. So therefore, I could not cancel the payment, but I could eventually fight against the payment. I called back ********************************* asking if I could be given the company name where the contacts had been ordered to see if I could cancel the order. I was not told at any time that there was a $42 charge to cancel the order from the company. I was not told that there would be an additional $25 charge from the office for canceling the order. I was told all about how the office was so short staffed and I was taking their time. I believe they should let a person know an approximate cost of an exam prior to the exam. I believe they should let you know cost of the contacts prior to them being ordered. They should also let you know there is a charge from the company and from their office if they cancel your order. I would like my $67.00 back because I received no notification of the cost of the contacts or cancellation costs up front by this office.
