      Pacific Recycling on ********** in ***** ***** made a change on how they reimburse their customers by using an ATM style device that does not also give the change or coinage. I had 6 pounds of cans and was only paid $2.00 for $2.40 worth of aluminum. When I asked about the difference, I was told that was how it is now and they offered to cut a check for the 40 cents. While 40 cents is not going far these days, I take a lot of satisfaction recycling and have been doing it since the 1960's. I do understand the time savings for the business, but I have major issues with taking advantage of their customers in this manner. After over 20 years of going to Pacific I am not willing to give 16% of my efforts to save them some time.

      The Pacific steel in ********* ***** staff are rude and they don't honor their advertising. They have bought out many scrap yards there to eliminate their competition. They ******* below standard price and sell extremely high. They are like the bullies in the school yard. They use profanity at customers who saw the price on their website and ask them why they pay low. They are trying to buy up or run the smaller yards out I believe this violates the following:. The ******* Antitrust Act An unlawful monopoly exists when one firm controls the market for a product or service, and it has obtained that market power, not because its product or service is superior to others, but by suppressing competition with anticompetitive conduct.

      These people violate employees rights to getting paid in time. They don't care!! And they have HOT material right in the ********* yard. Not barricaded or anything. I wished I could *** them!!
