Pattern of Complaints
On August 13, 2024, Better Business Bureau recognized a pattern of complaints from consumers regarding refund issues. Consumers allege they pay a deposit for appointments with Level Up Tattoo Studio, the business repeatedly reschedules the appointments and doesn’t refund their customers deposits upon request.
On August 13, 2024, BBB contacted Level Up Tattoo Studio by email regarding these consumer allegations. Level Up Tattoo Studio responded stating the following: “To date all clients have received a refund that have requested it and going forward we’ve been making important strides in maintaining scheduled appointments and have a rigorous and written out deposit policy, that we are now requiring clients to sign to show their compliance and understanding that a portion of all deposits ($200) is non refundable for any reason whatsoever. We are adamant about rebuilding trust within the confines of our community and have eliminated the individual who was responsible for the initial issues that caused everything else.”
