      Back in february 2018 I attempted to cancel my gym membership with Fuel Fitness. I was not upset with the service or the gym. I wanted to cancel because a different gym had opened up closer to my residence. I called the gym and asked what I needed to do in order to cancel. They asked my for my name, phone number and address to confirm I was the primary on the account, and said that this phone call would suffice and I did not need to do anything else. Fast forward to august 2022, I am having some financial difficulties and I spoke with someone to help get my spending in order. It was at this time during the review of my finances I noticed that I was still being charged for the Fuel Fitness membership that they should have cancelled at the original time of the request. I went back to the gym to get a confirmation of the cancellation, but they did not process it, so of course there is no record. What they DO have is a log of the last time I swiped my membership card to use the gym. This is how I know that I attempted to cancel at the time I did. I have now spent 2 months bouncing back and forth between my local gym and their financial department over the phone to receive the refund that I am owed.

      The business is locked and boarded as of yesterday with no answers to email inquiries or calls. ( fuel fitness in the Butte location *************************** prepaid a years worth of membership for 3 members of my family. I paid $924 on 9/6/2022 with ck number #****. This membership was to last through September of 2023. I would like a refund since the business closed. There were no warnings or communication before they decided to close the business.

      Hi,  
       not sure if this is the correct procedure to respond to your message.  I wanted to let someone know that fuel fitness did get in touch with me last week and gave us a refund for the months not utilized.  So I no longer have a complaint. Thank you for your time.
