    The Curious Society (TCS) launched their 501(c)3 in 2021 with the following mission: The Curious Society puts great photographers to work & shares what they see in a beautiful, oversized quarterly magazine. They promoted the publication of their inaugural magazine issue widely in the late summer/fall of 2021. You could purchase an individual issue or an annual membership which included four quarterly issues. On 9/16/21, I purchased a membership (SQ4457456) for $300 and received the first issue promptly.On 12/8/21, TCS sent an email newsletter celebrating their first year in operation and reiterating the benefits of membership: buy a membership and receive Issue 1 plus our next three issues. Become a membership by December 31 to lock in legacy member status and your price will never increase.On 1/23/22, TCS emailed again saying that theyd missed the deadline for Issue 2 due to unexpected family and health issues, but they promised forthcoming updates. This is the last communication I received from TCS and to this day I've received only one issue, not the three-four expected by this time.On 3/11/22, I replied to TCS's 1/23/22 email communication, requesting an update and a refund. I did not receive a reply.On 4/5/22, I wrote again and did not receive a reply.On 7/27/22, I messaged TCS through their website contact form. I have not received a reply.Id like a refund on my membership (minus the cost of an individual issue) and an explanation of what happened. Note: the original website and links to pricing / info have been disabled.
