    COMPLAINT Car was bought from SUBARU OF MISSOULA 5175 Expressway, Missoula MT ***** Vehicle: 2012 ******* ****** Hybrid Purchase 08/19/23 09/23 - Two breakdowns occurred in the 3rd and 4th week of ************ son was driving, it was a dangerous breakdown. Car had a loss of power on the highway I-90, temperature gauge was on red, at the maximum. I dealt with ***, service manager. I explained what happened to the car, he became defensive and uninterested. It was a hassle to get them to look at the car without a service fee.Service manager ignored the broken moonroof. ******** inspection and repairs $5,800+. See repair booklet from service manager at ******* of *******, ***10/23 Car was inspected by Subaru of Missoula mechanic, (see invoice) no charge. Diagnosis; Serpentine belt tensioners failed. Belt will lose tension and fall off. Estimated repairs $748-$768? Towing $ ******. My son paid.10/12/23 X** repair shop supposedly repaired the car, $ ******. My son paid.10/15/23 We moved to *******, ***1/23/24 Car was shipped to *******, *** $ ******. My son paid.1/24/24 (the next day) 3rd dangerous breakdown on the I-5 freeway (**) during rush hour. I was driving with my two boys. At 65mph, there was a loss of power, all dashboard lit up with system failure, emergency pull-over! Car was in an accident and overturned on 2/10/22. This information was not disclosed. Please see CARFAX. 09/24 Car was impounded in WA state, incurring daily impound fees. 10/24 My son and I were sent to collection by the lender to settle the debt of the car $ ******** + interest and collection fees.COULD NOT WRITE ALL DETAIL One year later. My son is still without a car.I have filed a lawsuit against Subaru of Missoula. This complaint, in no way shows the time, energy and stress involved with all that is connected to this defective ********** shocked and disappointed by how such a dealer, who in fact has the knowledge and resources to do the right thing, did not.
