On March 12, 2021 my mother, ***********************************, passed away &I became her estate's **. In May 2021, I contacted DA Davidson to disburse one investment acct, handled by *********************** to her beneficiaries (I provide him with their contact info). ****** assured me he would immediately contact the individuals for disbursement. In October 2021, beneficiary ********************************* informed me of my uncle ********************* (beneficiary) imminent death and that family was concerned about the ability to pay his final expenses. I asked why the $ my mother left could not be used, same as she'd received? ******* said she never received any $ or any contact from ******. I contacted ****** and he apologized saying he'd "dropped the ball" but would contact the beneficiaries immediately. I had no further update from ****** & on November 12, 2021 **** died. Having no will, I provided ****** with contact info for ****'s eldest child. On March 1, 2024 I received a letter from DA Davidson saying they'd made several attempts to contact the ** of *********************************** regarding the disbursement of $ to *****************. I received no prior call or email from DA Davidson. I attempted to contact ****** and got his voice mail advising me to call his assistant, *********************. ***** advised me that the $ for **** was in danger of defaulting to the state because they'd been unable to get a ** contact but they could disperse the $ back to me as Guadalupe's **. ***** asked me to obtain ****'s death cert. which I immediately ordered. On March 6, 2024 ***** sent an email stating she'd been wrong & would be unable to disperse the $ back to ******* would it would default to state if they were unable to contact someone from ****'s family. At which time I told her of ******** 2021 contact delay. Had ****** made contact in May 2021 the $ would not be in danger of default to the state. This was gross incompetence on ******** part and he should reimburse my mother's account out of his own funds.
