I paid $463.50 on 11 October 2024 to C M Buxton to have three rings redone so they could be stackable rings. We discussed the style and costs. I was told that this job would be done "in a few weeks". I gave the the jeweler my three rings with the expectation that I would be contacted by him in "a few weeks" with an update on my order. In mid-December 2024, I stopped by the shop to enquire, as I had heard nothing for about two months. I was told that it was 'being worked on' and they would be in touch 'soon'. I stopped in again on Monday, 13 January 2025. I showed my receipt and said I wanted a refund and my property back, as I'm clearly not a priority for them. The man I spoke with, ****, fumbled around in a drawer, went through some paperwork and then informed me that my rings weren't there to return. I was informed that he also would not be able to contact the jeweler because the jeweler was on 'holiday'. I was contacted later on 13 January 2025 by ****, who apologized and blamed his slow response on the end of year holiday season and the LA fires. I told **** I want a refund and my property back.**** informed me via text on 13 January 2025 that "I do want you to be happy and the only way I can do that rn is to give you your rings and your money back"It is now Saturday, January 18th. In addition to the three month, interest free loan **** took from me while giving nothing in return, **** has failed to contact me about returning my property. **** has failed to refund my credit card.I am concerned that my jewelry is lost or missing and I will never get my highly sentimental items returned to me. I am concerned that I paid a business about $500 to completely ignore me for three months. I have attempted twice to get the business to do anything for me. I have had no luck.
