Plumbtech installed a water filtration with reverse osmosis system for me and they did very well. The tech was super nice and they did have to come back after the first estimate appointment which I want super excited about but scheduling was easy enough

Unfortunately, I didnt have a good experience with Plumb-Tech. First off, a heads up that they dont charge per hour but have a set price for each job. Their prices are very high. To replace 2 outside faucets for me, they charged $739. I could have found a cheaper option, but I thought that Plumb-Tech had a good reputation and would do a good job. During the job, the plumber had to remove a piece of my siding to change out the faucet. He didnt replace the siding piece tightly but left a gap under it, so it didnt fit tight against the house. I didnt realize this until my pipe burst, at that very spot, a few months later during a cold snap.I have lived in my home for ******************************************* any problems with that particular spot. Plumb-Tech sent a plumber out to fix the pipe, and he confirmed that the siding was letting in lots of cold air and suggested that I seal it. Plumb-Tech charged for the repair. I paid my bill but then asked for reimbursement, as they caused this pipe to burst by not putting the siding back correctly. Because they also do winterizing checks for people, they should be aware of gaps that could let in cold air. Anyway, after much emailing, they refused to reimburse me for fixing the pipe. I didnt ask for any additional reimbursement (for the people I hired to help clean up the mess or the loss of a couch that got soaked). I only wanted them to take responsibility and reimburse me for their mistake.Unfortunately, I think its all about money to this company. They did offer me a free year subscription to Plumb-Tech, but I thought this was ridiculous, as they are still trying to solicit more services, not reimburse me. Again, its all about money. Beware of reviews. After your plumber leaves, Plumb-Tech sends a message stating that your plumber will get a free lunch if you give a 5 star review. Decent people fall for this. Thus, they get loads of good reviews. It feels like a sneaky way to get 5 star reviews.
