    I filed my taxes with ******* ****** for my 2021 return. I signed and submitted all taxes in the ************** on Oct 14th, 2022. There was a state income tax rebate that required taxes be filed by Oct 17th in order to qualify for the rebate. Married filing jointly taxpayers rebates were supposed to be $2,500. Upon starting to file my tax return for 2022, I realized that I didn't receive the rebate and was told that my return wasn't actually submitted by *********************** ****** until (Nov. 14th) - a full month after signing in their ******.Because of this delay in submitting, I didn't receive the rebate. There were issues on my 2021 return that required me to work with the Butte, MT ****** to resubmit my return. As part of this process, an employee in ***** asked that I sign a Form 2848 ***** of ******** so the MT **** of ******* would discuss this with her in an effort to get my rebate. That was in Sept of 2023. I followed up in Nov and was given very little information other than "I have not heard anything yet." from the ****. of *******. I followed up again in early February of 2024 and they seemed to forget that this was something I needed, responding with info about my 2022 return. I reminded her of the details on my 2021 retur (that were already agreed to in the same email thread) and didn't get a response for another week. The only update I received was that she was out and had been catching up. I never heard from that person or that ****** again.I opened a ticket with JH national support. They assigned my case to the HR manager in ********. That person has not responded to emails over the course of 2 months even after providing several documents proving my case. I have also called and am never connected to the person managing my case. The national support team says the case has been closed due to no payment, but I provided the check and receipt from JH to the person owning my case.

    According to our technical support team, the 2021 tax return was not completed nor signed on October 14,2022. We also have no record of payment. We have requested a copy of the cancelled check, but that has not been provided. The evidence that we have gathered indicates that the return was not completed nor signed until November 14, 2022, and the fees have not been paid.
