I attended the ***** Montana Power Products location to purchase a replacement part for my lawn tractor. This part had to be special ordered through Husqvarna. The price was $28.94. This sounded a bit high for the part but I needed it and agreed. .It was Saturday and I was told they would put the order in Monday morning and the usual turn around was about 4 days, so a Thursday delivery.Thursday came and when I checked for the part I was told they just ordered it on that day.The reason being they had to "consolidate" enough individual part orders for a bulk shipment from the supplier. and it would be the following Wednesday. That is today. I called and they still had not put the order in because they now said they were waiting for enough parts from all three store locations (Ronan, ****************************). They now defined the situation as my part being on "backorder"; which is an incorrect use of that supply chain term since their Husqvarna supplier had plenty of parts to ship.I checked my receipt and noticed that the actual part cost was $21.99 and they charged $6.95 for shipping. This seemed directly in conflict with my part being one in a bulk order collection of parts (now going on for 10 days) where you get discounted shipping and as I understand after looking at Husqvarna web sites FREE SHIPPING on large orders exceeding a mere $50.I went online and found three suppliers of this part and all three charged about the same price for shipping that single part:$6.95, $8.99, $9.25 with Unit Prices of $25.13, $13.69, and $23.93 respectively. I have this documented. They are doing this "consolidation" to generate "shipping profit" by charging their customers the "unit shipping cost" that they DO NOT PAY. In other words they are LYING to their customers and FALSIFYING their customer invoice to generate additional "free revenue".I cancelled my order of course. How does such a business get BBB accreditation with this kind of sleazy practice?

************************* & To whom it may concern,

***** made the order on 5/13/2023 (Saturday), he was told that the part should arrive approximately 4-5 days after the order was put in with Husqvarna. Unfortunately Husqvarna requires our parts orders to be $200.00 before we can make on order. We made the order on May 18, 2023. ****************** arrived at our location on May 18, 2023 to check on part and he was informed the order had been made on that day and it would be a few days longer to receive it. On May 24, 2023, ****************** was informed that the WHOLE order had not shipped from Husqvarna warehouse. He asked for a refund and was promptly given his deposit back. I see on the attachments that he included with his complaint, they also clearly show this item is a special order and will leave the warehouse anywhere from 4 days + and  arriving at his location on August 16, 2023. As for the price that he was charged for the part he needed, as a actual Husqvarna dealer it is under the pricing of the 3 examples he provided and the shipping is right about the same. Montana Power Products feels that this complaint is invalid and needs to be removed. Thank you for your time on this matter.
