I paid the owner ******************* of "A Da Z Concrete" in ********, ** $750.00 to grade a 16'x77' area for a slab, and they did a very shoddy job that costed me a few days of unexpected laboring, and a second time rental for a compactor. I showed *** the area that the grade was to match, only to have half of the area 5" lower after the "job" they performed. There was over 60' of area where the forms were to be set that were a few inches high, which had to be trenched out in order for the forms to be able to be set to height. I also told *** that I wanted a 5' radius perimeter of gravel around the areas I personally helped him **** out on the ground with orange ****er paint, and he failed to not only not give me that much needed radius of gravel, the exact length of the graded area was a few feet short, which created more work on my end, with me having to add several wheelbarrows of gravel and hand shoveling in order to form up the area for concrete. I brought this to ***'s attention, along with proof of pictures that I sent him of the shoddy work that was done that I paid him for, and told him after I corrected all of the work they never did, that I wanted a quote from him for the price of labor for pouring 23 yards of concrete. After he messenger me the quote, I asked if he was willing to knock off some cash, due to the two solid days of laboring time and money he caused me. He immediately responded to me to "find someone else", accused me of looking to get work for free, and texted that he didn't have time for "a POS (piece of $hit) like me". I have this entire conversation on text. *******************, owner of "A Da Z Concrete" was very nasty to deal with once I exposed the fact to him about the many lawsuits he's had against him through the years for not only performing shoddy work, but for taking other people's money any never showing up to do the work, thus scamming them. I wouldn't hire him to grade the litter in a litterbox.
