    We hired The owner and main ********* of this company, **** Salazar, a year ago to remodel the inside of our house. He gave us a price (over ******) to do the work and said he would be finished by Jan, 1st, 2022. He was not finished on his contractual date. We gave him extra time,as he became injured and then got Covid. After two months he started his work again but said he could only work on weekends as he had taken another weekly job. At this point we had paid all money (over ******) he stated he would need and was in the contract as well as extra money. We would drive by the house on weekends to see if he was working but he was not there. Another deadline passed so we told him we needed to get it done or we would need the money back to hire someone else to finish. We sat down with the contractor and did a whole timeline of what he would do and when it would be done. He gave us another final deadline of mid June, 2022, and its still not done. We have been trying to contact him to no avail and he has abandoned the job taking all the contracted money plus and its been a year. Ive explained to him we we are suffering greatly as we depend on rental income from that house as one of ur main incomes. He has not finished the work or given us money back to hire a new contractor to finish.
