Around February of this year we took our vehicle to *** to have them look at a squeaky belt. We left with $3500 worth of repairs and a new ** Compressor. Since then we have had to return 3 times as the ** continued to go out. Each time *** replaced the compressor under warranty. Last week my wife and son traveled to ******* and the ** went out again. *** made arrangements to tow the vehicle to its shop in *********, ** and have the ** repaired AGAIN. This shop said the compressor was wired improperly which had caused it to short out. The bigger problem was the tow company that *** contracted to tow the vehicle improperly towed the vehicle causing irreparable damage to the transfer case. Apparently the *** in ********* didnt feel this needed to be shared with my wife and sent her on her way with a working ** but damaged transfer case. There is no way they didnt know something was wrong as the entire vehicle vibrated when you turned at low speeds. Upon returning to ** I took the car to *** in Apex to have them identify the damage. They confirmed that it was towed improperly and contacted the tow company with an estimate. The tow company has been unresponsive for two days and as we wait I have no vehicle to get to and from work. When I contacted *** about providing a rental while this is waiting to be resolved they stated that they did not cause the damage so they would not provide a rental. However, the tow company that caused the damage was contracted by them. I did not choose this company. The only reason the vehicle had to be towed was due to the fact that they had yet again messed up the repair. Then to top it off the *** in ********* ignores a damaged transfer case and sends my family on a 10 hour trip home in a badly damaged vehicle. I believe what I am asking for is minimal given the situation. All I want is for them to provide me with reasonable transportation while they attempt to get the tow company that they hired to cover the repairs.
