      We ordered library cabinets and materials from Markraft, paying 50% down on Sep 13, 2023, and the remaining 50% prior to delivery on Oct 16, 2023.The cabinets and materials were delivered with a host of problems, including:Two of the 36" cabinets (TBC369312) had permanent shelves that were not properly glued/attached. There were visible gaps between the shelf and back wall of the unit, and the shelf was not capable of bearing any reasonable weight, with the gap opening further when load is applied.oNearly all of the movable shelves (25 in total) had significant visible blemishes on the front face, including gouges, visible joints, and a very obvious "grittiness" that looks like the wood was not cleaned prior to the paint/laquer being applied.Portions of the cabinets also exhibit this "grittiness" in their finish.Multiple cabinets had visible glue and other discoloration at joints. They were also full of sawdust and debris and obviously not cleaned prior to shipment.Two of the F696FH pieces were shipped short - they were only 92" long instead of 96".To address our complaints, two Markraft employees, including *****************************, VP of the ************* of Markraft, visited our home to inspect the product. They agreed that the shelving was unacceptable and promised they would be replaced. They took the shelving with them.Prior to their visit, I had removed all the shelves from the cabinets, carefully marking the shelf backs to indicate which cabinet they came from.On Nov 16, 2023, our replacement shelves were delivered. However, a close examination showed that in fact they were the original shelves (with my numbering on the back) that had been sanded down. The normal finish on these shelves is a high-durability type of paint, and by sanding the shelves this finish was significantly compromised. We were promised replacement, properly manufactured shelves and received back the same defective, further compromised product.

      Markraft Cabinets ordered bookcase cabinets for ***********************  With manufactured product, at times, items can come in damaged.  Some of his fillers and shelves were not to his approval so our team reordered fillers and took the shelves back to our shop to try and refinish them to his satisfaction.  The refinished shelves were not to his satisfaction so we decided to order new shelves from the manufacturer.  The new shelves will arrive next week and we have communicated all this to the customer.  Our goal is that they come in to his satifaction and get him taken care of.  Our team in Apex has done a great job communicating any issues and updates with customer and to try and get him taken care of including, at company expense, replacements and attempts to refinish the product.  We will continue to do all we can to satisfy customer and again, all has been communicated.

      I am rejecting this response because: I have not yet received the promised replacement product, and do not anticipate receiving it within the next 5 calendar days.  Product is supposed to ship to Markraft on Dec 4, and then on to me after passing their inspection. 

      After acceptable replacement product is delivered and potential compensation for our trouble is discussed, I will evaluate the acceptability of the response.
