      In May of 2021, I went to Uptown Cheapskate to sell clothes as I have done regularly before. After completing their review of the clothing, they provided me with the bin of the items they wanted to take/buy from me. At the top were two LuluLemon pieces I had not intended to include in my sale. I informed the employee that I did not want to sell them and that they were mistakenly placed in my bin. She was very understanding and said she would place them aside in my take-home bin (clothes they denied) while I continued to shop around the store. A few days later, I was emptying and sorting through the bin of denied clothes at my house. I could not find the LuluLemon pieces which I told the employee I didn't want to sell. After triple-checking the bin, car, house, and closet, I called Uptown Cheapsake to explain the issue. I spoke to the manager who took the details information from the pieces and said she would double-check the bins and the store and go back to watch the security tape. It took over two weeks for them to check this information despite my calls to check in. At that time, the tapes had been recorded over, and any evidence was lost. She then directed the situation to the owner* *******, who contacted me to find a solution. The owner said she could refund me $50 of in-store credit. The LuluLemon clothing items were hardly worn, in perfect condition, and cost a total of $166 without taxes ($68 shorts and $98 leggings). I told her I was not okay with this due to the cost and that it wasn't my fault they lost them. She said she would be able to give me $25 cash instead. We debated the price and settled on half of the cost of the original price ($83). She requested I send her an email with the links, prices, sizes, and my address for the check to be sent. I did so on June 12th. It has been a very long time, and I still have not received my check. I have tried texting, calling, emailing, going in person, and contacting corporate to no avail.
