We purchased our property and began occupancy on July 18th. We requested Superior Powerwashing to power wash the exterior of our residence, remove spiderwebs, eggs, mosquitos, dirt, etc, that job was done the afternoon of July 25th. A few days later, July 27th, we phoned Superior Power Washing with our credit card and shared that the crew had not washed the front deck of the pillars and ceiling. The owner said he would send them out. August 5th, I phoned again as they had not been back, the owner shared he actually has on the route for that afternoon. Almost immediately the young worker stopped washing and got the Supervisor to come, who took over. From my office window, which faces the deck, I could smell the strong odor of bleach, I went outside. The Supervisor pointed out how the seal and stain was coming up and forming balls and specs of gel. I asked him to stop with the chemicals that they were not there to clean the deck, they were called back because they didn't clean the ceiling of the front porch, the pillars nor the porch lamp. Keep in mind at that time they had only cleaned one of the sides before the center of the deck and had not cleaned the other side. I went back inside. To my horror later went to the deck to measure for rugs, I discover they had continued to treat the entire deck with the bleach cleaner and aggressively used the power washer removing the stain and seal in several places nearly completely stripping the finish throughout the deck from one side to the other side and several places in-between. Photo's attached. While we did not immediately call Mark, as we wanted to get estimates, to our horror the first estimate on 8-30-22 was $6,207 to only sand and seal, and that we would need another company to come do the staining. I texted Mark he came over and tried to blame our dogs in the exact spot the Supervisor and I discussed the gel forming done by the power washer! Mark wants us to pay him to stain and seal the damage by his crew

We were hired to power wash ****'s house and that was exactly what we did. We completed this job on July 25 2022. House power washing is a low pressure chemical wash . We did not wash her decks as that is not what we contracted to do. To wash a deck you need to use a different type of gun to apply medium to high pressure depending on what type of wood it is and depending how dirty it is.  Washing a deck is an additional charge and not something that would be done at no charge. **** called to pay after the job was done. She was very happy with the quality of the job. She then called several days later to say the crew had missed spots on her front porch. We agreed to send a crew back to rerinse her front porch. We were not in that area and it did not get done until about 10 days later at which point she pointed out spider webs on the front columns. The crew rinsed the front porch with water only as the house would NEVER require chemicals as she states to remove spider webs plus it was clean from being chemically washed 10 days prior which she was very happy with. The reason she had spider webs was NOT because the crew overlooked washing her porch but because she lives on a lake. You are more susceptible to spiders and such pests in that environment. Spiders can build new webs overnight FACT. Our foreman called when he was done to tell us that was "new stuff" not something that was missed. We never heard anything more about this job until about a week later when **** called to say we ruined her deck. This was again another surprise. I as the owner went out to look at it. It was obvious that the flooring of the deck was scratched up by her large dogs claws. She insisted it was not from her dog. She owns a VERY large dog that was barking and jumping up on her front door as we spoke. I offered to come back with a power wash machine to show her that you cannot create scratches like that on the surface of a deck with a power washer. I also let her know that we had worked for the previous owners of her house and that we had done this front porch staining previously. This is the most important thing to know at that point she informed me that she had another company out to give her a quote to refinish her front porch. They gave her a very high price in my opinion. I feel she was upset about the expense to refinish her deck and therefore turned the blame to my company. Why would she have another company out to quote something BEFORE she even contacted me to say she felt we ruined her deck. I asked her that and her response was well I didn't think you would take responsibility. None of it makes sense. Once she told me what the other company was charging I told her that was too much. She said "can you please help me out and provide me with a reasonable quote to redo the deck". She was very friendly at that point. It was still uncomfortable though because in one moment she was asking for me to "help her out" and then in the next sentence she would mention needing to possibly take legal action. When I left I told her I would send a quote that was more reasonable and she was happy with that. I did not send an estimate because I was not comfortable working with her. She sent a text several days later asking us to fix her deck. I told her I would send a quote but we were not responsible for how her deck looked but would be willing to provide an estimate to redo it. She then changed her tune once again saying I should not be giving her a quote for something she said we ruined. She goes from nice please help me customer to sue happy very quickly. We do have pictures of her deck that clearly shows scratches. She also said we would not be allowed on her property to show her how the power washing could not possibly do that so we had no way to satisfy her with that. I told her if she felt small claims was what she needed to persue then that was her perogative. She then continued to text about 15 more messages after I told her to have a nice day. She started sending pictures of her home cameras to let me know not to go onto her property. She also went as low as to send a threatening text saying "*Hockey! Btw we personally know the team Dr. Do the right thing!" She was aware that was 12 year old son was heavily involved in ice hockey and it sounded like she is preparing to trash talk me. She also ranted on about how I should do the right thing for my business because "Lord knows you need to pay for your son's $50,000+ dollars a year in youth soccer & education!" I believe she meant to say hockey. Regardless **** presents herself as very vindictive and angry person. We did not do any damage to her deck, we washed her house and she paid for it as a satisfied customer, we came back to rinse spider webs and that is it! I will not do any other work for her as she is impossible. I do have pictures and texts to back all of this up. Thank you for your attention to this matter.
