      In June, my hvac system stopped working properly. **'s came out and determined I had a leak. They refilled the coolant, but the leak was determined to be large because I ran out again a week or so later. They convinced me that it would be cheaper to get a new and better unit than spend money trying to find where the leak was located etc. I said ok and we agreed on a new unit. The new unit was installed in the beginning of July. From the get-go the unit did not work properly. It would not maintain the temperature that the thermostat was set at. They came out several times, but they said unless it was currently happening, they could not determine the cause. They then decided it was my zone board and that it needed to be replaced. I asked about cost because I was not convinced it was the issue. I was verbally quoted 150. They also did not tell me they were going to start charging me for labor when they were paid the initial quote for a brand new fully functioning unit. The zone board did not fix the issue. They refused to contact ***** because they did not think anything was wrong. I paid a lot of money for a unit that doesn't really work. They finally decided they would contact the company in September, but as the outside temp cooled, my unit wasn't presenting with the same issues. They then sent me a bill for ****** with ****** being the cost of the zone board. I tried to contact the company regarding this. I was supposed to get a call back one time and did not and the other time I wanted to speak the sales guy because he is a reasonable person to talk to, but the owner answered and was rude and unkind and would not let me speak to him. I paid over ****** dollars for a new working unit and they did not provide it. I am sure I will have to have some other company try to fix it when temperatures rise this summer. I also had to pay someone to come out and fix the heating portion and they told me that it was not hooked up correctly. I was lied to about the cost of the part and it did not fix it.

      We did install a new Bosch unit for ********************, final installation date of 7/31/2023.  On our quote to ********************, it clearly is written that all parts, materials and labor is warrantied for 1 year from date of installation. 

      We received a call for service that the thermostat was not maintaining temperature; we went out on 8/30/23 and replaced a zone board for existing equipment; all checked good at that time with all zones operating as should.

      On 9/6/2023, we received a call that system was not maintaining set temperature set on 72 in morning and goes up to 74 in afternoon.  Major *******, our service manager called ******************** to discuss and made many subsequent calls afterwards to arrange a time to come and look at system once again. 

      Major ******* changed the setting on the zone board and advised customer to call if this did not help the situation. A picture showing the zone settings and lines drawn for ******************** as to which lights should be on is attached.

        Major observed that a whole house dehumidification system had been installed by someone else and it had been done backwards resulting in problem with air flow.  Major tried to contact ******************** leaving many messages to let her know of this situation and ask if we could repair the dehumidifier issue.  We have never received a return call from ********************.  He advised that we would repair at no cost. 

      Our office also had tried to contact ******************** on numerous occasions via phone, e-mail and regular mail to ask about an invoice from August, 2023.  We have also received no response regarding this

      Our first contact regarding complaints from ******************** has been received from BBB consequently not allowing JBs Heating & Cooling to address any issues.  The first complaint made on 2/6/2024 was unfortunately not received in our e-mail as BBB had not been given correct address and the fact that *************************** was no longer at this company. 

      We would like to know who came out to repair the system and what was done for same for our own records.  We do not believe all her issues were related to installation of the Bosch Unit but, instead to the dehumidification system affecting the air flow situation.

      We also believe we made honest, repeated efforts to contact ******************** to take care of any situations that *** have related to her issues from our installation

      We think this complaint is totally exorbitant and very misleading and are disputing same at this time. We also will expect payment of our invoice # ***** dated 9/6/2023 which was on existing equipment; we have called repeatedly and sent in regular e-mail as noted above, no response.  There has been a total lack of response to our attempts to take care of any matters relating to Ms. ********* issues and, at this time, feel that this complaint is without merit. Thank you for allowing us to try to get the record straight
