      Window Replacement and Bath Center came to my house 4 times to quote windows. The 3rd time had the exact measurements taken to close the quote. The 4th time on October 4th we paid ****** by check which is 1/2 the total to get the windows and doors ordered. They were due around January which I was informed it would be ~8 weeks more. 8 weeks later they said ~8 weeks more. They notified me they were closing the business but would close out my job. I asked for a phone call more than once. They would not call me. Yesterday 5/2/24 they notified me to contact their lawyer. I did and they are going to be filing for bankruptcy today 5/3/24 in **************. Their businesses was in **************. Before the job could be done I had to remove drywall and electrical. My house now has had drywall and power removed in 2 rooms and my young kids have to just deal with this. You will see on the recite I attached it said I am responsible to remove this drywall and electric. Now I don't even know if the glass was ordered as they refuse to call me. This is really bad because we are out a lot of money and our house is ripped apart where I cant fix it until new doors are installed. It would be nice to know where our window order is of if they defrauded us and didnt order them from the manufacter. If we cant get the windows right we want a full refund .

      The original sales order was signed12/12/22 the actual work wad completed in 9/6/23, The said they would replace a bathroom window witha clear window fitted. Their first attemp could not be completed because the window did not fit the opening. The second attemp was not completed because the installer did not have the right tools. Their completed job was a framed window nailed to the exterior. This is not what we agreed. In addition the frame they used was battered with a number of nail poops. Because it was installed over ceder shakes, they loaded it with caulk. It looks horrible. I have called the business and it seemed that they would do something. They didn"t. I have tried to contact them and their Arden and Hickory Offices ( I believe Hickory may be the primary office). They will not return my many,many calls. I tried sending a certified letters. One was returned. The other is still out there. Because of their irrespncivness I have contaced another professional to retify the situation. That work has not yet commenced. Any help you can give me would be appreciated.

      We have a signed completion certificate by him indicating the acceptance of the job. Nothing has changed since then. After several months have passed, he is now complaining. Maybe his wife doesn't like it, I don't know.

      I am rejecting this response because: The completed job is unsatisfactory for even the lowest standards. I have sent pictures of the completed job to ************************** at Replace Windows and and asked him to rectify the installment. He wouuld not offer me the courtesy of coming out to inspect the job. I did not sign off on the completion of the job. My signiture is authorizing the job. However, i did pay him promply by issuing his worker a check when he completed the job(the prompt payment should count for something). I only gave an inside look at the completed jiob. When I looked at the job from the outside, I was dismayed. The window was nailed over cedar shakes with heavy caulk to fill in the shakes. The frame is littered with nail-pops and nail heads. The mitering is very amateurish. It just is not a professional job.  Given that I paid him $1150.00 for one small window, I expected a very professional job. I am disappointed

      We are not going to do anything. We have a signed Completion Certificate by **************** indicating that the job was completed satisfactorily.
