      Rented a cabin for the week of Thanksgiving on 9/25/24 and then cancelled on 9/30 when the hurricane came through due to the fact that they are not operational in the area and didn't want to chance that they won't be back to "normal" by the end of the November. When I cancelled I expected a cancellation fee of 10% of my deposit as it states in the policy. And after going back and forth with a representative by email since they aren't answering their phone lines it was stated by their reprentative that the fee would only be 10% of the deposit. Well, when I received the credit they only refunded the deposit less 10% of the total rental amount. No where in their policy does it state that it is 10% of the total rental agreement. And when I finally was able to talk with a team lead, I was basically told that I went back and forth by email until I finally got the answer that I was looking for. If they are charging 10% of the total rental then the representative should have never stated that they would only charge 10% cancellation of the deposit. I didn't twist their arm until they said that and they never provided written proof of that "policy" to me at all. Policies should have written detail of what the cancellation fee will be charged against. After much back and forth and beyond frustration, the team lead called me back to state that they would only charge 10% of the deposit. I've since received the refund, however the moneys are still pending in my account. Make sure to always read the policy and don't allow a company to just tell you, well that's our policy when it isn't even written anywhere.

      Rented "Hops and Dreams" and it was an awful experience. The owners of the house did everything they could to make a great vacation home unfortunately the management company Is ruining their efforts. When we first arrived we noticed the grass was knee-high before we even got out of the car. Upon entering the house we saw the rug in the living room was covered in mud stains and the corners of the rug We turned up 8 inches in the air and we had to put furniture on top of the corners to prevent a trip hazard. The mornings were beautiful But because of the high grass our dogs would come in soaking wet. This house is in a residential neighborhood where people have travel campers parked at the driveway. Unfortunately the neighborhood Of outdoor cats that for whatever Like to be around this rental property. We had 4 to 5 cats around the house Driving the dogs crazy and then at least one of them Decided that hanging out under the front porch For the duration of our stay and it just drove our dogs And made it impossible to stay. The photographer should get a bonus Because the house looks great in photos. If you're going to stay here make sure they turn the hot tub Three days in advance so it gets warm enough for you. When we checked in it was 82. We booked four days, Left in less Than 48 hours because of the issues And just requested a one-day credit. The management company acknowledged in writing they were Aware of the issues and they said in writing " We understand these inconveniences impacted your overall ability to enjoy Hops and Dreams to its full potential and we apologize". Be careful of this company read all of their reviews.

      I tried to make a reservation with this company a few weeks back and it was because they advertised a short term rental with pets allowed. After paying over $1500 for 2 nights, I got the rental agreement that said they only allowed 2 pets and we had 5. They would not refund me and were absolutely horrible to talk to. I was able to go through Airbnb and found another rental that said pet friendly and of course allowed 5 dogs as there wasn't any ***************** had a wonderful stay. Its unethical to say pet friendly then hide that they only allowed a certain number and take your money and run. I feel I was scammed. I would never recommend this company to anyone & will never use again!!
