    On 8/3/2023 I reserved a 4 x 8 trailer from UHaul to be picked up in ********* **. I drove to ** on 8/4 and picked up trailer then furniture. Emptied trailer and returned it to Allens Gulf between 930 and 11 AM on Saturday, 8/5. I had paid for a 24 hour rental. Allen's Gulf was overrun with people; had a line out the door. Older man in the yard told me to back the trailer into a spot between 2 trucks, which I did. I never went in the office. Monday 11/6/23 6:56 PM, I receiveemail "Not Returned UHaul Equipment" from ******************* 92 DAYS AFTER THE RENTAL "We've tried to reach you but were unsuccessful". They have my email, current mailing address and phone number. I have NOT been contacted by UHaul AT ALL between 8/5 and 11/6. Routinely I delete pics and texts on my phone and those related to trailer are gone. Figured that transaction was complete!As soon as I read the 11/6 "missing" email, I chatted with agent who advised I go to Allens Gulf AND she couldn't assure I wouldn't be charged!Next AM 11/7, I went to Allens Gulf. ***** looked up my record; said the trailer shows it's still in TN; says they never released the contract so Allens Gulf couldn't close it. I asked about video.***** said they don't go back that far. He said to call UHaul and have them locate the trailer. Called UHaul same day (11/7). 25 minutes into the call, ****** (UHaul rep) says the trailer is in a recovery lot in **, puts me on hold again. Comes back and says no, it's not in ********* and they can't find it and they'd look at video at Allens Gulf. Relayed that ***** said their video doesn't go back 90 days; ****** advised he couldn't assure I wouldn't be charged and that he had to file a dispute with the Area Field Manager *********************** *************). I RETURNED THE TRAILER AS AGREED. They did NOT contact me before 11/6. THIS CASE NEEDS TO BE CLOSED ON MY END. THIS IS A UHAUL PROBLEM. I DID NOT STEAL THEIR TRAILER! I RETURNED IT. THEIR CHAOS SHOULDN'T BE VISITED ON ME!
