My dentist appointment at Asheville Aesthetic Dental Partners was canceled by my dentist office about three weeks in advance of my dentist appointment without my permission. I called the office phone numbers to speak to staff members at my dentist office before my scheduled dentist appointment and I asked to reschedule my dentist appointment. I had left staff members at my dentist office a voicemail to let them know many good dates and times for me to reschedule an appointment in year 2024. I had asked dental staff members If they could please call me back to leave me a voicemail or email me as soon as possible to let me know of several available appointment dates and times that I could reschedule a dentist appointment. The dental staff members did not pick up the phone so I left a voicemail. In my voicemail I said that I would return the dental office staff call by speaking in person on the phone or through a voicemail to confirm one new dentist appointment time as soon as they could leave me a new voicemail or email to confirm a new appointment date and time. My current dentist office has had about three weeks to respond to the voicemail that I had sent to them earlier this month and to leave me a voicemail or email me and has still not left me a voicemail or emailed me to confirm a new appointment date and time. I think that all my future dental appointments with my dentist should be scheduled and confirmed by a receipt and/or ticket and email confirmation of an appointment date and time in advance of my future appointment dates to avoid future disputes, confusion or arguments with my dentist office staff because of neglect and dishonesty. My appointment with Asheville Aesthetic Dental Partners was scheduled for November 13, 2024, at 2pm but this dentist office has mailed me a letter in October 2024 that states that "[They] are removing [my] appointment from the schedule. [ I ] will need to find dental care at another practice."

    Business Response

The complainant was/is not a patient of record so we have no actual relationship with her.  She made an appointment for a comprehensive examination.  We had to reschedule several times due to interruption of our operations due to Hurricane ******.  The day of her appointment one of my dental assistants interviewed her.  She was unhappy that we did not accept ******** and talked about suing her previous dentist.  My assistant told her that we could not meet her needs with ******** and that she should find another provider better suited to her situation.  We sent a letter as required reiterating our position.  Now we have received this complaint from BBB and her threat to sue.  We at **** wish her the best but will not accept her as a patient at this time.
