I am a member of an HOA. Mc ****** is the insurance company my HOA purchased from. As a lot owner & named insured I have a right to have my questions concerning the policy answered. The board of my HOA instructed them to only speak to board members. The board will not answer my insurance questions concerning the policy. Again Im insured through this policy as well as all of the lot owners. Mc ****** Insurance Solutions need to answer our questions concerning coverage since we are additional insured

The Property manage also has no record of Mrs. **** requesting this information.

We reached out to Mrs. **** and gave her all the information she asked for, she also filed a lawsuit against her HOA and they had a subpoena that gave her all the information she asked for.

All her requests have been fulfilled, even though when this was sent to you, we had no record of this and in no way were stopping her from getting her information.  **** McKinney called her and personally talked to her about this.

I am rejecting this response because:

The only item McKinney sent me was a copy of the policy which I already had. I contacted ***** ***** on 3 different occasions & she refused to speak to me. Other residents, **** ********* and ****** *********, who own the private property that a portion of the trail is located on called 4 or 5 times to confirm that their property was covered according to the board and ***** ***** never called them back. Residents in this community gave the *** nonexclusive licenses to create mountain biking trails on their private  property. The *** is referring these trails granted via non-exclusive licenses as them common elements. The *** does not own the property, does not lease the property or have an easement. Residents want to know if they are in fact insured. Insurance was given to residents as an incentive to allow the trails to be on their private property. The trails were supposed to be maintained by the *** & residents have hold harmless agreements which we were told where backed by insurance

Was not given the prorated amount when transferring to a new car insurance company. Also being charged $45.81. I've never encountered a car insurance company that will short rate A premium in order to scam customers out of money.

McKinney Insurance has nothing to do with the short rate this customer experienced.  We are only the agent.  The insurance company (National General) charged her a short rate for her cancelling her policy in the middle of the term.  McKinney Insurance does not charge a short rate.  National General charges a short rate.

Short rates are legal in the state of NC and though the insured claims she has never experienced one before, they are very common.  Most insurance companies that sell a month policy charge a penalty for canceling in the middle of that term.  The insured also was also sent a policy by National General which shows in writing this will happen if she decided to cancel in the middle of the term.

The insured got a new policy with a new agency.  That new agency should have reminded her that if she canceled in the middle of the term then her insurance company would charge her a penalty.  This is very common in the industry and her new agent should have warned her of that instead of trying to make a quick sale.  I would suggest her call her new agent and complain about their practices.

Though the insured is upset, this has absolutely nothing to do with anything McKinney Insurance did in their business practices.  We dont make the laws in NC.  The insurance company charged her a short rate that they warned her in writing in her policy would happen if she canceled mid term.  McKinney Insurance has nothing to do with this and this complaint should be voided.
