Me and my family moved from ************** to Georgia in June 2023. We could not have asked for a better crew or better customer service from their salesman and *****. All our questions and concerns were answered in a timely manner and were explained to us instead of being ignored. We appreciated *****'s assistance in helping us go through the estimate and explaining the estimated costs, instead of just providing a number. The crew that assisted us with our relocation to Georgia, was some of the kindest, most hardworking crew I've ever worked with. **** (the crew lead) made sure that our transition went smoothly and without any hiccups. All items were delivered without any damage and were handled with care. We could not have asked for a better moving experience.

DO NOT TRUST GASPERSON.***** deleted the insurance cover without advising me. They then lashed an expensive, $9000, bed frame to the OUTSIDE of a moving truck! It got badly damaged. They refused any compensation. They will say I signed a new order, but in truth I trusted what they said and believed the only change was to the weight - why would I cancel $200 of insurance on a $12000 inter state move! After many emails...they take no responsibility for their mistakes.

**************:We are sorry that your move with North American *** Lines was not completed to your standards. We would like to take this opportunity to present you, and future customers, with the proper facts of your relocation and review. On March 3, 2023, our salesman conducted a walk through and provided you with an estimate to UT for $17,330.71 (this included valuation). On March 14, 2023, you reached out and requested us to remove some of the items off of your estimate in order to reduce cost, which we did, reducing the overall cost to $16,455.57 (this included valuation). You agreed to these terms, and your move was registered with North American *** Lines. On April 3, 2023, you sent an email to our office stating that the buyers of your home changed their minds, at which time you advised that you would let us know within the week whether you wanted to continue your move to UT prior to receiving a new contract on your current house or wait until you had a new contract on your current house. On April 11, 2023, you contacted our salesman via phone stating you wanted to re-quote your move again as you were no longer taking all items, and to remove valuation. We then emailed over the new contract, which you reviewed and consciously signed. This binding contract was then sent back to us, signed, by you personally, the very same day it was issued. At no time after this contract went into effect were we asked to make any additional changes. We would now like to address how corporate van line moves take place. Gasperson Moving and Storage was your booking agent through North American *** Lines. Because your move was outside of our 500 mile transportation radius, your move was assigned to a North American *** Lines driver, which you were advised of from initial communications with our sales team. At no point during your relocation did Gasperson handle your household goods, nor personally damage your items. This is why you filed your claim with North American directly, not Gasperson. You knowingly released your household goods at the basic value protection replacement amount of $0.60 per pound per article based on the documentation you completed on 4/11/23, and North American *** Lines honored the level of valuation you agreed to.It is not uncommon for final items to be blanket wrapped and strapped to the liftgate once a truck is full, if necessary. While it is not ideal, no concerns were expressed during the loading period. We were not made aware that the bed was blanked wrapped and strapped to the back of the semi-truck until after your move had already taken place and was delivered in UT. Had you called us on the day of loading, while you and the driver were present, and advised us that this was not acceptable with your very expensive item of furniture, we could have reached out to the North American driver directly and come up with another solution. We understand that basic value protection is substantially less coverage than full value protection which is why we give all customers the option to select one or the other. We regret that your move did not take place without incident and apologize for the inconvenience to you as a result.

Let me start off by saying that my husband and I received 5 quotes before choosing a mover. This is also after me reading through tons of reviews about all of them (many that made us very anxious about hiring anyone to move ** 700 miles)! We chose Gasperson North American not because they were the least expensive (they weren't) but because they (especially Kaleb) were so patient in answering allllllll of our many questions and concerns about all aspects of the moving process. We had read horror stories of people being charged extra at the end of the move, items being damaged, rude staff members, etc. This was NOT our experience at all! From Kaleb to ***** and then the fabulous trio of ****, ***, and ****, we felt nothing but appreciation for the patience, kindness, and overall professionalism of the whole team. Our move was flawless. Our items arrived when stated and everything intact (expect for two small items that I packed poorly), communication was impeccable, we weren't charged any extra (because ***** did a great job estimating), and we were so pleased that **** and *** showed up to unload (they really are great men) when we arrived in *******. I hope this review helps because I know how stressful and expensive moving can be but I highly recommend Gasperson!
