    May 17, 2024 Had agreement for this company to pack kitchen, and move furnishings. Three hours before they were supposed to arrive, I received a text message that they would not be coming to fulfill the agreement. I have tried to contact the owner by text and voice mail, and he he failed to respond in any fashion.

    I hired Asheville moving company for the second time since Ive moved to Asheville. I put down a deposit and confirmed my date (8/21/2023). They canceled on me the morning of my move and never refunded me and its been a month since then.

He claims to own Asheville Moving Company, in Asheville, **. When you call to get a quote, he always states 2 men, 3 hours - $500 deposit. The owner suggested that I report him to Cash App, as he was already kicked off of Paypal. I did - they did nothing.This is a VERY serious and broad scam he is running. It is active. And needs to be addressed He is also targeting ***********, **.

    Business took my $500 deposit for a June 16, 2023 move but they canceled the move days before without explanation and then did not give a refund as promised, and does not return my calls or texts.

    On Oct 10, 2022 I paid ************************* $500 as a deposit to secure a moving date on Oct 20,2022. On the day of the move ***** texted me saying he was running late and would contact me in 40 min with an eta. Previous to that day he told me they would be there at 8:00am on the 20th. He never got back to me in 40 min, so an hour later I texted asking for an eta, he told me after 1:00. We needed to be out by end of day. He then said his guys were in SC and would be back late, could he move us the next day which we couldn't do and I honestly didn't trust him to show up that day either. I said no and would just like to be refunded our $500. I have called, texted and have gotten no response from him. My husband called and texted as well, no response. I would like my $500.

    August 15th 2022, I was given a quote of $1000 for moving services. When the movers arrived at my new home, they ran out the clock until it started raining. They then left to take a nap and insisted that I pay them. When they returned, they refused to bring my things in the house and when I called the owner, *****. He proceeded to berate and threaten me, saying if you leave a bad review, I know where you live. The movers dumped my things and left. I would hate for this to happen to anyone else and something tells me Im not the first.
