My 92 year old mother had an appointment at this place of business this morning. Her appointment time was 10:45. We arrived at 10:45, having filled out all the paperwork the night before via the patient portal, as requested. The front desk assistant was exceptionally unprofessional as we were waiting our turn to be welcomed. "Crap" was a frequent word in her vocabulary as she assisted the person in front of us. She then gave that patient a receipt to which the woman replied, "This says ******** so and so" The receptionist quickly took the receipt from her and gave her the correct one (HIPPA violation). When we stepped up to the window and I gave her my mother's name, she said, "Your appointment was at 10:30 and our doctor won't see patients who are late. Would you like to reschedule?" We said "No Thank you", as the office seemed unkempt, with a TV blaring, in addition to the unprofessionalism and rudeness of the woman at the check-in window. We went to our car and I double checked our appointment time, which was indeed 10:45. I have no idea why the receptionist, who never gave us any eye contact, said we were late but I can tell you that we won't be going back to that office. The whole experience felt like a scam, or like it was a place for drug seekers. Very creepy.
