We received a gift cert. Christmas of 2021 from our children in the amount of $500 to be used at Westglow during our vacation in the summer of 2022. We added $200 for a complete day at the spa giving 2 services each and lunch. There was a confusion about the date. My recollection was for Sat. 8/27, since my husband always plays golf on Friday. On 8/26 I received a call from Westglow at 11:30 a.m. letting me know our date for services was now. I tried to explain there was a confusion about the dates. The manager told me they sent me an e-mail so they had done their part. I told them I didn't receive an e-mail when did they send it. She told me May 6th. That was the only interaction we had with them even though I cannot find that e-mail. There were no other reminders or confirmations of that date in 4 months. I tried to reschedule for Sat. Mon. or Tues since we were leaving on Wednesday. I said we would forgo the lunch and just get the services they could just credit the lunch. I was told they were too busy and there would be no crediting at all. If we wanted to reschedule the services we would have to pay for them again. They will not honor the $700 paid previously because that is their policy, of which we were never informed. They say they did their part by sending the e-mail. I suggested that it would be a good business procedure to remind clients 1 or two weeks ahead of their scheduled time since a lot can happen in 4 mos. like co-vid an other things that may cause some confusion. I want a refund of my $700 or an opportunity to reschedule the services which have already been paid for. If they had notified us wthin the last month or two we would have been there and there would have been no confusion. I don't think a confirmation to make sure all are on the same page is an outlandish thing to ask from a business that has received $700 from us.

I have not heard from the business in response to my complaint. The last time I spoke to them was 8/26. The manager told me they would not honor the $700. already paid for our services. If we chose to have those services we would have a very to pay for them again. The will not credit a missed appointment that is there policy. I don't know what else I can say except we have done this same thing for many years. They have lost our business and I would recommend, to anyone rise considering a spa day there not to go. It is worth the ride to go to ******** ***** **** *** ****** and spend your money there. A 40,000 Sq. Ft spa with fabulous amenities that makes Westglow seem like the amateurs that they are.
